Who We Are
We are an all breed feline rescue. All of our kitties are in loving foster homes. POG is comprised of a small group of private individuals, committed to the lives of the kitties we save.
All expenses come out of our own pockets. Adoption fees are set to a limited amount and are used to offset the cost of necessary medical and caring expenses of the kitties in our care. The kitties are not in shelters, but live with love in the home of the foster person who rescued them.
Please note also we love animals and do not approve of the mutilating, unecessary act of declawing so if you feel you must declaw your kitty we urge you to read up on this horrible practice and then if you still feel you must have a declawed cat we will help you find one that is already declawed, we will not allow declawing after any adoption, please go elsewhere if you feel you must do this. Also we do not approve of our cats being outside or inside/outside so if you feel that cats need to be allowed to roam outside to be hit by cars, attacked by dogs, be exposed to Feline Leukemia or Feline AIDS, other diseases and parasites, poisoning and worse and you feel that domestic cats that have been domesticated for thousands of years can fend for themselves outside against cars, dogs, etc. and they can take themselves to the veterinarian then please do not even waste our time and try to adopt one of our cats, go elsewhere. But if you are a kind, loving, caring adopter who will love and care for your pet and do the best you can to protect and provide for them you are the kind of adopter we want and please take a look at our animals that need homes.
We reserve the right to refuse to adopt to anyone.

We try to accommodate transports whenever needed and possible within reason, there may be a fee for transports that are difficult or long distance and we encourage adopters to help with transport whenever possible.
Discounts given for multiple adoptions.
Half of your adoption fee is required to hold an animal and is not refundable if the adopter does not follow through with the adoption through no fault of ours or the animals. Adoption fees may be refundable and can be applied to another animal should the adopter wish to return an animal, all animals must be returned to Paws of Gold if the adopter can not longer keep them (may be placed elsewhere subject to our approval), the total adoption fee may be returned at our discretion up to the first 30 days. After 30 days the adoption fee is non-refundable but the fee may be applied to another animal at our discretion. All adoptions are not the same and we will make every effort to work with adopters, we want you and our animals to be happy.
- Kittens too young to be s/n $100
- Young cats already s/n $150
- Older kitties and special needs $75 or special arrangements made
- All purebreds already s/n $200.00 for adults, $300 for cats under 1yo
- Except special needs and extreme Sr.'s.
